Anno Domini is a Windows calendar program which is designed to accompany
the many personal information managers (PIMs) on the market and has the
following features:
(01) Display a Gregorian calendar for any month from the years 1753 and
2153 and also display the current date, time, week number, days
elapsed and days left in the current year;
(02) Display the moon phases for any given month from the year 1753 to
the year 2153 and show the dates and times at which the moon phases
occur;
(03) Display the times of sunrise and sunset for any day between the years
1753 and 2153 for any location around the world;
(04) Display the major national holidays and events for England, Wales,
Scotland, Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland, the United States of
America, Canada and Europe for any given year until the year 2153 and
highlight the Bank Holidays and the next event which will occur in
relation to the current date. Also, all of the major Christian
festivals including the movable events such as Easter Sunday and
Advent Sunday, etc., for any given year from 1753 to 2153 are
displayed;
(05) On This Day feature which displays for the current date 4 historical
events which occurred in the past and the birth dates of 4 famous
people from the past and the modern day;
(06) Save Reports feature allowing you to store to disk in ASCII text
format or output to an attached printer a calendar for the selected
year, the times and dates of all the moon phases for the selected
year, the times of sunrise and sunset for each week in the selected
year and all the national holidays, events and Christian festivals
for the selected country and year;
(07) System Info feature which displays computer specific information such
as memory usage, free hard disk space, time using Windows, selected
printer and video driver etc;
(08) Minimize the calendar window and see the current day, date and time
displayed in the icon along with a view of the current moon phase
which is updated on the hour;
(09) Select any day on the currently displayed calendar month with the
mouse and view the week number, day number and days left in the year,
the difference in days between the current date and the selected date
along with the times of sunrise and sunset, the number of hours of
daylight and any national or world event occurring on that date;
(10) View the time zones of all the major countries around the world and
select your country specific details from a database of over 500+
cities around the world.
To install Anno Domini, copy the ADOMINI2.ZIP file to your hard disk and
use the PKZIP 2.04g file decompressor with the following command:
PKUNZIP -D ADOMINI2.ZIP
This will decompress Anno Domini to your hard disk. See the online help
for any further assistance.
Anno Domini is shareware which means that after 14 days from first
installing it on your hard-disk, you must register your copy if you wish to
comtinue using it. Registration is £10 sterling (or $20 for American users)
and cheques are to be made payable to E.Ciaffarafa and sent to the
